Users and accounts
Tenant admins, employees, and how customer portal logins relate to customer profiles.
Settings → Users controls who can sign in to ServEase on behalf of your business — separate from Customers records used for bookings.
Account types
| Type | Portal | Typical access |
|---|---|---|
| Tenant admin | Admin | Full settings, billing, configuration |
| Employee | Employee (and limited admin where granted) | Calendar, assigned bookings, own profile |
| Customer | Customer portal | Book, manage receivers, view history |
Tenant admins
- Created at signup or invited from Users.
- Can manage all settings tabs they are allowed to see.
- Use Profile and security for their own password.
Employees
- Linked to Teams and departments.
- Receive invitations by email when added.
- Day-to-day work happens in the employee portal URL (see your welcome email or landlord-provided domains).
Customers
- Customer profiles under Customers store booking history, receivers, and balances.
- A customer may have a portal login (email + password or magic link) to self-serve bookings.
- Not every customer needs a login — staff can create bookings on their behalf in admin.
Invitations
When you invite a new admin or employee, ServEase sends an invitation email with an acceptance link. Resend from Users if the link expires.
