A bookable slot is the intersection of several layers.
The stack
Service (what) + Schedule (when) + Team/employee (who) + Location (where) + Rules (limits)Minimum configuration
- Location with availability
- Team of employees with availability and assigned to the location
- Service with basic information — name, description, and price
- Schedule defining open times and duration
Customer journey
- Customer opens portal or widget.
- Picks service and slot from computed availability.
- Chooses receiver if required.
- Fulfils questionnaire if applicable.
- Pays (or pays later) per payment terms.
- Receives confirmation email.
Admin journey
- Open Calendar or Bookings.
- Create booking manually for phone/walk-in clients.
- Reschedule or cancel with policy rules applied.
