Locale, timezone, and currency
Set regional defaults for your workspace — language, timezone, and currency.
Regional settings affect how dates, times, and money display across admin, portal, and widgets. Configure defaults under Settings → General — see General settings.
Locale
- Primary locale — default language for unauthenticated visitors (portal and widgets).
- Fallback locale — used only when a translation is missing in the primary language.
- Signed-in users can switch language where the UI supports it.
Timezone
- Workspace default timezone — the business “wall clock” for schedules and reports until a user overrides it.
- Personal timezone — each admin, employee, and customer can set a preferred timezone in their own profile or account settings for display convenience. Booking times are stored consistently; personal preference affects how times are shown to that user.
Cross-timezone businesses should align employee and location timezones with how staff actually work to avoid surprise slot shifts.
Currency
- Default currency is set under General → Billing defaults — the system default for new services and displays.
- Admins can still select other currencies on individual services or bookings where supported.
- Gateway settlements follow each payment provider’s rules.
