Onboarding checklist
Use the dashboard checklist and setup wizard to go live with ServEase.
ServEase guides new workspaces through two layers of onboarding.
Setup wizard (first login)
A blocking wizard covers essentials:
- Receivers and location model
- Locale, timezone, and currency
- Payment gateway orientation
- Summary before entering the app
Complete or skip individual steps; skipped steps remain on the checklist.
Dashboard checklist
After the wizard, the dashboard shows remaining tasks:

| First location | Create a venue, on-site, or remote location |
| Team and employee | Add a department team and assign staff |
| First service | Run the service wizard with a schedule |
| Customer portal | Note your {workspace-id}.portal.servease.io URL (welcome email); on Growth+, set Frontend theme key under Settings → General |
| Widgets | Configure embeds at {workspace-id}.widgets.servease.io — see Booking widgets |
Mark items done when finished, or open the linked page and complete them later.

Locations → Teams/employees → Services/schedules → Gateways tested → Portal/widgets sharedTips
- You can run the service wizard multiple times for different offerings.
- Test a booking yourself via the customer portal before going live.
- Connect at least one payment gateway before accepting paid bookings online.
