API and Webhooks
Create API keys, set up webhooks and connect Zapier (Scale plan).
Settings → API & Webhooks is where you connect ServEase to other systems. It is part of the Scale plan. On Starter and Growth the tab is shown as locked with the plan that includes it.
API keys
- Open Settings → API & Webhooks.
- In API keys, enter a Key name and choose Create key.
- Copy the secret straight away — it is shown only once.
- To stop a key working, choose Revoke.
Anyone who holds a key can read and change the data it can reach, so store it like a password and revoke keys you no longer use.
Webhooks
Webhooks send an event from ServEase to your own system when something happens.
- In Webhooks, enter your Endpoint URL, an optional Description, and the Events you want.
- Choose Create webhook and copy the signing secret — it is shown once. Use it to check that a message really came from ServEase.
- Choose Send test to check your endpoint, and open the Delivery log (View deliveries) to see each attempt with its status.
- Choose Delete to remove a webhook.
Zapier
To connect ServEase to Zapier, use Open ServEase on Zapier and sign in to Zapier's ServEase app. You will be asked for your workspace domain and your admin login while connecting. Zapier is part of the same Scale capability, not a separate add-on.
Priority support
Priority support is also part of Scale. It means your requests to ServEase support are handled with priority.
If your plan changes
- Upgrading to Scale makes the tab and its features available immediately.
- If you later move to a lower plan, API keys and webhooks stop working and the tab shows as locked. Your keys and settings are kept, and you can still revoke keys.
- After you upgrade again, webhooks that were paused by the plan change resume, but Zapier and other connected apps may need to be reconnected or reactivated.
