Getting Started

Set up your ServEase workspace, complete onboarding, and take your first bookings.

Welcome to ServEase. This guide walks you through the first hour with your new workspace.

What you need

  • Your company name (we suggest a workspace ID from it — you can edit it)
  • An admin account — your name, email, and password
  • A subscription plan — 14-day free trial on Starter, Growth, or Scale; no card required at signup

Step 1 — Choose a plan and sign up

  1. Open the pricing page and compare Starter, Growth, and Scale.
  2. Click Start free trial on your plan. You land on the signup form with that plan pre-selected.
  3. Enter your company name. The workspace ID (tenant slug) is filled in automatically — lowercase letters, numbers, and hyphens only (for example acme-spa). You can change it; invalid characters are removed as you type.
  4. Enter your name, email, and password (at least 8 characters; the form shows password strength).
  5. Click Start free trial. You agree to our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy by continuing.
  6. You are redirected to the admin login for your new workspace. Sign in with the email and password you just created.

Your ServEase platform subscription (what you pay ServEase) is separate from payment gateways you connect so your customers can pay you for bookings.

Step 2 — Guided setup tour

After sign-in, the dashboard opens with a short welcome (two screens). You can Start tour, Skip for now, or Skip all setup help.

The guided tour highlights real UI with step-by-step spotlights:

  1. Dashboard — pulse cards, header, notifications, and sidebar navigation.
  2. Settings (General) — receiver types, locale, timezone, and currency.
  3. Profile & Security — profile details and two-factor authentication (2FA).
  4. Payment settings — connect customer-facing gateways (you need an existing Stripe or similar account first).
  5. Locations — create your first location.
  6. Teams — departments, employees, and teams (including one-employee teams).
  7. Services — create your first bookable service.

Use Skip this section or Skip all setup help anytime. Optional Quick tour banners on Bookings, Transactions, Customers, Receivers, and Reports offer extra tips later.

Step 3 — Use the onboarding checklist

After the guided intro, the dashboard may still show a checklist:

  • Create your first location
  • Add an employee and team
  • Publish your first service
  • Learn about the customer portal and booking widgets

Each item links to the right area of the product.

Step 4 — Publish something bookable

At minimum you need:

ItemWhy
LocationWhere the service happens
Team + employeeWho delivers the service
Service + scheduleWhat can be booked and when
