Service Vouchers

Service Vouchers are vouchers you grant to a customer that cover an eligible service or booking — for example a free session you are giving them. A voucher is a right to a service, not money: it has no monetary balance, is not account credit, and cannot be used for part of a payment or spent on something else. Service Vouchers are included in the Growth and Scale plans.

On a lower plan the Service Vouchers tab is shown as locked. If you move to a lower plan, vouchers you have already issued stay redeemable for eligible bookings; Growth controls issuing and managing new ones.

Where to manage vouchers

Settings → Service Vouchers

Use this tab to:

• See active, redeemed, and expired vouchers across customers
• Issue a new voucher to a selected customer
• Filter by voucher code, customer, or status
• Review issue and redemption dates

Issuing a voucher

1. Open Settings → Service Vouchers.
2. Click Issue voucher.
3. Select the customer the voucher is for.
4. Save — ServEase generates a unique code. Share it so the customer can use it when booking an eligible service.

Redemption at checkout

When a service accepts Service Vouchers, the customer enters the voucher code during checkout and the eligible service is covered. You can also link a voucher to a booking yourself. A redeemed voucher moves to Redeemed status in the admin list and cannot be used again.

Service Vouchers and extending a booking

A voucher covers the period that was booked. If an admin extends a booking that was paid with a Service Voucher and the added time would carry a charge, ServEase does not extend it automatically — it says so and changes nothing. An extension that adds no charge goes ahead as normal. See Extend a booking.
