Service visibility and publication
Control when customers can discover and book a service — always visible, scheduled windows, drafts, and widget countdown.
Visibility is configured in the service wizard Basics step (and on the service detail Basics tab when editing).
Visibility modes
| Mode | Who can book | Customer-facing |
|---|---|---|
| Always visible | Customers via portal and widgets | Listed when schedules allow |
| Time-limited visibility | Customers only inside publish/offline windows | Can show a countdown on widgets until go-live or until the service goes offline |
| Internal / draft | Admins and employees only | Hidden from portal and widgets |
Time-limited visibility replaces older separate “hide on widgets” toggles. Use one visibility choice group so publication rules stay predictable.
Scheduled publication
For launches or seasonal offers:
- Choose time-limited visibility in Basics.
- Set publish at and/or offline at (tenant timezone).
- Optionally enable a widget countdown so marketing pages show time until booking opens.
Outside the window, the service does not appear in catalog or widget flows even if schedules exist.
Internal and draft services
Use internal / draft while you configure offer, delivery, and availability. Staff can still create bookings on behalf of customers. Publish by switching to always visible or a scheduled window when ready.
Checklist before go-live
- Offer step has price (or quotation mode) and payment terms
- Delivery step has teams and locations in scope
- Availability step has at least one valid schedule
- Visibility mode matches how customers should discover the service
