Email templates, in-app inbox, and how ServEase notifies admins, staff, and customers.

ServEase notifies your business and customers through transactional email and an in-app inbox (bell icon and Notifications menu).

Email templates (summary)

Each workspace starts with a full set of default transactional emails. Admins may edit copy to match their brand.

  • Every template is maintained per locale (all languages your workspace supports).
  • Bodies use placeholders (for example customer name, booking time, service name) replaced when the email sends.
  • Templates are authored in MJML — try layouts at mjml.io try-it-live before pasting into ServEase.

In-app inbox (summary)

The bell icon and Notifications page show in-app notifications for admins (and similar surfaces for employees and customers in their portals). These alert you to booking and payment events without opening email.

See In-app inbox.

Email provider

Settings → System emails → Configuration → Email provider shows the outbound mail transport (SMTP host, port, encryption, from name and address). Values are read-only for most tenants.

ServEase sends mail through the platform infrastructure. SPF/DKIM and custom sender domains are configured by ServEase operations — contact ServEase Support if you need dedicated deliverability or a custom domain. Tenant admins cannot edit provider credentials directly.
