Team detail

One team — members, business hours, time off, services, and bookings.

Open a team from Teams to manage who delivers services and when they are available.

Header and actions

  • Edit team — open the edit modal (name, department, members, schedule, time off, locations)
  • Delete team — remove the team and its scheduling data

Overview

The Information tab summarises:

  • Employees — members assigned to this team
  • Bookings — count from the latest bookings page
  • Services — offerings that use this team in Delivery
  • Locations — places where this team can be scheduled

The sidebar Quick summary repeats key counts and links.

Business hours

The Business hours block lists when the team can be booked — one line per weekday with time ranges (for example 09:00–12:00, 13:00–17:00 when lunch breaks apply).

Viewing hours

On team detail, hours are read-only. If none are configured, you see “No business hours configured.”

When Team is always available is enabled on the team, business hours are ignored for scheduling unless a service schedule applies stricter rules. The detail page shows an explanatory note instead of a schedule.

Setting business hours

  1. Click Edit team on the team detail header.
  2. If Team is always available is checked, uncheck it to configure a schedule.
  3. In Team Schedule, choose Simple schedule or Custom schedule:
    • Simple — tick weekdays, set start/end times, optionally add a lunch break split
    • Custom — add individual day + start + end slots (avoid overlapping slots on the same day)
  4. Click Save changes — hours sync to the team and appear on the detail page.

Service-level availability still intersects with team hours — a team open 09:00–17:00 cannot be booked outside that window unless always available is set.

Time off

The Time off block shows a wall chart preview of days when the team is unavailable (holidays, maintenance, leave, etc.).

Viewing time off

On team detail, the chart is a preview — you can see coloured blocks by date and type but cannot edit from this screen. If no blocks exist, you see “No time off recorded.”

When Team is always available is enabled, time-off limits are likewise ignored unless a service schedule is stricter.

Setting time off

  1. Click Edit team.
  2. Scroll to Time off blocks (optional).
  3. Use the wall chart editor:
    • Navigate months with the arrows or Today
    • Click a start day, then an end day on the chart (or pick dates in the form)
    • Choose a type — leave, holiday, maintenance, sick, illness, team integration, day off, or other
    • Optionally add notes (for example “Company retreat”)
    • Set start time and end time for partial-day blocks
    • Click Apply to add the block, or Remove day off / Cancel chart selection to adjust
  4. Click Save changes to persist blocks.

Multi-day selections are stored as daily segments. Time off removes availability within team business hours — customers cannot book those slots.

Employee-level time off still applies on top of team blocks when assigning individual staff.
