Introductory Offers replace Trials, a smoother booking journey, clearer receiver conflicts, and more reliable subscription billing.
This release introduces Introductory Offers — a more flexible way to attract first-time customers — and improves the booking experience when slots fill up or receivers are already booked.
Introductory Offers
Trials have been replaced by Introductory Offers, a broader first-visit promotion you can tailor to your business.
Each service can have one introductory offer with:
- A custom name — for example Trial lesson, First visit, Assessment, or Consultation
- Flexible pricing — free, fixed introductory price, fixed amount off, or percentage off
- Per-option or whole-service pricing
- Eligibility rules — per customer, per receiver, usage limits, and more
When a customer qualifies, the offer is applied automatically across the admin app, customer portal, public widgets, booking summaries, emails, and reports. Existing trial settings were migrated automatically so your current first-visit pricing keeps working.
Configure offers in the service wizard Offer step. See Service options and pricing for setup details.
Smoother booking journey
We improved what happens when a selected time slot is no longer available:
- The customer portal now finds and suggests the next available slot when a chosen time has just been taken
- Customers can accept the suggestion or pick a different date without starting over
- When choosing receivers, the portal now distinguishes Already booked (same service) from Booked elsewhere (another service at that time), so customers understand why a receiver cannot be selected
ServEase subscription billing
Settings → My Subscription billing is more reliable for tenants on paid plans:
- Transaction fees from your billing period are now included correctly on monthly renewals
- Annual subscribers receive separate monthly invoices for transaction fees while the platform fee stays prepaid
- Trial-to-paid checkout no longer bills usage from the trial period
- Completing checkout (not only adding a card in the billing portal) is required to restore full access after trial
Customer account and sign-in
- Customer phone numbers now display correctly on customer profiles
- Magic-link sign-in and registration now require a phone number only for new customers; returning customers can sign in with email alone
- Login and booking-continue pages include a clearer privacy and security notice
Notifications and promotions
- The first unfinished booking encouragement email (sent after an auto-cancelled unpaid first booking) can now be delayed per service — from immediately up to 7 days after cancellation
- Discount codes apply more reliably during booking and checkout preview
Reliability fixes
- Deleting a team now correctly removes its linked schedules and refreshes public widget availability
- Customer email links (including View booking and Book again) work reliably even when legacy API settings pointed at the wrong host
- Various fixes to introductory-offer eligibility, catalog availability caching, and booking stability
What's new for administrators
- Configure Introductory Offers instead of legacy Trials
- Control encouragement-email timing per service
- More accurate My Subscription billing previews and renewals
- Clearer receiver conflict handling in the customer booking flow
- Improved team deletion behaviour
- Ongoing bug fixes and platform stability improvements
