Create a resource
Step through the resource wizard — basics, locations, availability, unavailable periods, details, photos, and summary.
Use the resource wizard to add a bookable asset. The flow mirrors the service wizard: section intros, ? help links, and a review step before you save.
Wizard steps
| Step | What you configure |
|---|---|
| 1. Basic information | Name, category, description, internal reference |
| 2. Locations | Venue, on-site, and remote locations — the same picker teams use |
| 3. Availability | Always available, or weekly business hours |
| 4. Unavailable periods | Maintenance, repairs, private use |
| 5. Details | Type-specific fields such as seats, capacity, or check-in times |
| 6. Photos | Images customers see, ordered by priority |
| 7. Summary | Review everything before you create the resource |
Photos
Photos appear in the customer-facing gallery on the booking pages, in the order you set. Use the first image as the one that represents the resource in lists and cards.
Resource detail page
Open a resource from Resources to manage it day to day:
- Information — status, category, hours, and unavailable periods;
- Locations — where this resource can be used;
- Bookings and Services — where it is already in use.
Unavailable periods
Add unavailable periods by hand when the asset is busy or out of service.
Status values
- Active — bookable when availability allows.
- Maintenance — visible to you, not bookable.
- Inactive — hidden from booking flows.
After saving
Link the resource to the services that should offer it. In the service wizard, set the capacity type to Resource or Team and resource — see Resource-based services.
